Broken Water Pipe at Office Complex in Beaver, WV

In the winter keep your water pipes warm to prevent broken pipes from destroying contents, ceilings, walls and/or floors.

In this case the building owner couldn't keep the pipes warm. All the power in the area had been off due to a severe winter storm that brought several inches of snow and extreme cold temperatures.

This building was closed during that storm - several days later the owners returned and discovered a water pipe in the ceiling had frozen and burst. All twenty rooms were affected. This is a hallway - the insulation was washed out of the ceiling and throughout the complex.
